This is a seamless soundtrack comprising eleven short song sketches all without words - Low-fi recordings from in and around 2007 when I was teaching myself guitar and how to sing. One take live recordings. Raw for the raw.
These songs are stitched together with many found sounds - birds, cars, helicopters etc from outside my flat in Cape Town, South Africa. As a whole this album documents my transition from spoken word artist to singer songwriter.
Enjoy the accompanying mini-doc to the right called "The Ins and Outs of Sounding Out' for the full story. Edited by Ross Campbell.

All music and found sounds recorded by croc E moses - except Blew Moskew guitar and vocals recorded by Owen Pratt in LIverpool, UK 2005.
All music written and performed by croc E moses except Moon Goof - Drums by Robeat
All tracks mixed by croc E moses in collaboration with Simon 'Fuzzy' Ratcliffe. We did four passes of a live mix through an analogue desk in 2017. I then stitched together the best takes with input from Tom Althouse.
Mastering was a collaboration with Tom Althouse at Silk Purse Studios, ON Canada and Simon 'Fuzzy' Ratcliffe at Sound & Motion Studios, Cape Town South Africa.
